We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Infrastructure Applications Administrator.
Reporting to the Public Services Project Manager, this position will support the City’s asset management software for the Public Services department which includes Fleet Services, Infrastructure Maintenance, Parks & Open Spaces and Utility Services. Significant budgetary and operational decisions will be based on the information that the asset management software provides to the Public Services management team. Equally important is the program support that the Infrastructure Applications Administrator will provide to employees from field staff to management, thus ensuring that service disruptions and delays are held to a minimum. The incumbent will also be responsible to deliver application enhancements, updates, configuration and testing.
For this position, two-years’ of post-secondary training in Digital Media and IT or a related program is required as well as a minimum of three years’ experience managing and supporting enterprise applications. Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS suite of applications and proficiency with Microsoft Office is a prerequisite. Knowledge of business intelligence/report development tools such as Crystal Reports is an asset for this position. The successful applicant with have excellent analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and handle tight deadlines. A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is necessary for this position.
